It tells the story of two brothers, one a cop and the other an aspiring songwriter, who find themselves mixed up in the student protests of the late 1960's in Japan that are being led by a Christ-like folk singer.

Shichiro Oshima wakes up from the artificial hibernation 100 years in the future, sleeping though the wrath of nuclear war. He wakes up to find Japan to be a primeval jungle, with little to no remnants of Earth's past. After being rescued, Shichiro learns that the Earth is being under attack from alien invaders from all reaches of the universe. A plane crashes and 8 people survive – and they shouldn’t have save for the fact that the mountain has an unusual magical property and the survivors were all hit with rocks from the mountain during the crash. As long as they keep those rocks, they stay alive. But the guardian of the mountain sends two people after the survivors to get the rocks back, in the disguise of two children killed in the crash. Originally under the title \"Dust 18\" (and was meant to be 18 chapters). It was not popular during serialization, and thus was not able to properly conclude. This Manga deals with parenting, depicting the daily lives of mangaka Ohsamu Tetsuro, who strongly resembles Tezuka Osamu himself, and his family. The story begins with the birth of his first son. The son is named Makoto (nicknamed Mako) and grows to be a healthy 2 year-old, basking in the love of his orderly mother and careless father. The son is followed by two daughters named Rumiko (nicknamed Rumi) and Chiiko (nicknamed Chii). This story focuses on the increasing hustle and bustle inside the Ohsamu family. Also includes the 4-koma work \"Sorry, Mama\": The lively day-to-day family life of the young boy Yabo Onishi, his mother, and his father. An adaptation of Fyodor Dostoyevsky\'s classic Crime and Punishment, reworked for younger readers. The setting is St. Petersburg in Czarist Russia, in the days just prior to the Russian Revolution. Rascalnikov is a child from a poor family. He murders an old lady who is a loan shark and flees with her valuables. Judge Polifili, who has been assigned to the case, immediately suspects Rascalnikov because he had recently submitted an essay in a magazine claiming that \"the world is divided into those who are geniuses and those who are not.
